Never talk while walking. Arrive at the stop, walk past the point of interest, turn, and let the group form a semicircle facing you — with the sight behind you, so eyes and ears point the same direction. Count heads before starting, and give the meeting instruction ("back at this fountain in twenty minutes") first, while you still have everyone, not last.

Shouting over a busy street loses to the street every time.
